Amazon Suspensions: How to WIN Reinstatements after Sellers Create Multiple Accounts
CJ Rosenbaum – Amazon sellers, this is the incredible Tony Zhang, one of our most awesome paralegals, who has been winning cases left and right. And Tony, what was your victory? You were giddy this morning about what you won. Tell me about it.
Tony Zhang – So this morning, I won a reinstatement for a client that has been struggling to sell on Amazon for almost two years.
CJ Rosenbaum – So, he wasn’t with us for two years. He recently retained us after striking out left, right and center. He hires us, the case gets assigned to Tony. And what was the issue, why was he down for so long?
Tony Zhang – The client was down because he created multiple Amazon accounts, when he was trying to start selling on Amazon.
CJ Rosenbaum – This is usually death to a seller. A new seller, business verification drives them crazy, so they open up account after account, trying to get on the platform to get into business. How in the world did you win this case?
Tony Zhang – So in this case it’s a little bit strange, because the client is from Taiwan and they use traditional Chinese in Taiwan, which is not a language that’s accepted by Amazon. So the client had to actually get notarized translations of all of these verification documents in order to satisfy Amazon’s requirements.
CJ Rosenbaum – So many sellers don’t realize this. We have staff on both sides of China, in Shenzhen, which is near Hong Kong, and on the other side of China in Hong Jo, which is closer to the Beijing, Shanghai side of the country. Both are huge sources for both Amazon sellers from China, and also sources of products.
Tony is Canadian American, Chinese ethnic, and speaks Chinese, English, and I think even French. And so whatever these issues are, not only can Tony address the domestic issues, the international issues, fluent in languages. It’s really unusual to win this type of case, and Tony won it.
