Recently, I’ve seen a large increase in the amount of temporary restraining orders freezing sellers’ assets on the Amazon platform.
If you receive a temporary restraining order (TRO), that means you’re subject to litigation. There is a time in which you have to respond to the court. What the plaintiff has done is convince the judge that there would be some sort of a irreparable harm if they didn’t freeze the funds they believe are subject to this dispute. You should have received the copy of the complaint along with the notice of the temporary restraining order or at least the contact information for the plaintiff’s attorney who can provide this to you.
