How We Can Help Amazon Sellers Who Are Falsely Accused of Policy Violations With Plans of Action

Plans of Action, and how to address Amazon’s lack of transparency.

This is Amazon Sellers’ Lawyer paralegal, Briana to tell us all about Plans of Action and how to address Amazon’s lack of transparency.

Plans of Action are super crucial in the world of Amazon sellers. A POA is a three-step remedy to resolve your suspension. Essentially, it contains the root cause, your immediate corrective action, and the preventative measures you’ll take to ensure this issue causing your suspension doesn’t happen again.

To break this down, the root cause is what caused you to get this violation?

What did you do wrong? There are instances where it’s not exactly made clear by Amazon, what the policy violation is. In those cases, we don’t suggest that you simply admit to any wrongdoing if you feel like you were not in the wrong. With those situations, we suggest that you step back, analyze your business to see what you can do better, and submit that to Amazon instead.

Next, address your immediate corrective actions to resolve the issue with the customer.

Sometimes it’s refunding a dissatisfied customer or offering them a new product. If you consider your root cause as being short-staffed, maybe you explain that you hired additional staff. Amazon wants to see what you did to fix the issue right away since they sent your shop the violation.

And then lastly, you explain your preventative measures.

This aspect is very important because Amazon wants to know what you are going to do moving forward to avoid whatever happened from occurring again. Maybe this is implementing different policies or improving your customer service. Whatever your plan is, it’s important to highlight these crucial details in your preventative measures in terms of your business operations for Amazon so that they will be convinced to reinstate your account.

If you’ve been falsely accused of policy violations, contact us. We’d love to help you.
