Amazon Sellers’ News 12/20/19 with CJ Rosenbaum: Amazon Referencing New TOS in Suspension Notices, Related Accounts Getting Caught Faster Than Ever, Review Manipulation, China Magic sourcing group.
Amazon is clearly referencing the new TOS in its suspension notices.
If you want to learn exactly what the new TOS says and how it affects you, click here. We have a bunch of videos breaking down the new TOS, paragraph by paragraph, letting sellers know everything about their new contract with Amazon. Absolutely vital information.
Amazon seems to be catching related accounts faster than ever.
If you have started to sell and you’re having problems getting one account off the ground, you open up another account.. There used to be some time delay, some lag before you got caught. Same thing if you’re an experienced seller and decided to open up a second account. You wouldn’t get caught right away. We are seeing sellers getting nailed almost immediately. So if you are going this route, be super careful. Different computers, IP addresses, Mac addresses, email addresses, names. Everything has to be different if you do not want to get caught with related accounts.
The China Magic sourcing group.
Athena and Dan are absolutely remarkable people. They help business people shift into new areas. They help sellers learn sourcing. They run tremendous sourcing trips to China, and they also create a whole new line of advanced sellers called the Titans and tonight in Los Angeles, I will be at their Christmas party. I’m blessed to have been invited, and I cannot endorse China Magic more. So if you are anywhere near Los Angeles, please join me at their Christmas party. It’s going to be absolutely spectacular.
Review manipulation suspension with a 72 hour notice.
What we’re starting to see just over the last couple of days is that Amazon is nailing sellers who are doing the right thing for consumers, but when they replace the product, they’re also asking them to reconsider their negative review. So if you are doing that, stop until after the new year and then reconsider. If you are thinking about changing your process right now, stop. Don’t make any changes. Ride out your sales through the new year, and then contact us for a free consultation to talk about what changes you are thinking of.
