In Google Trends: how to report a seller on Amazon, how to message a seller on Amazon, Amazon shipping suspensions. If you check Google Trends like I do and look up issues that are important to sellers, these particular searches are what’s called breakouts on Google right now. That means it’s not just 100, 200 or 300% increase in the searches. It’s well beyond that, like a thousand percent increase in the searches, and I hate that your consumers are searching these issues, because it’s bad for Amazon sellers. During this particular time, you need to be super careful and give incredibly awesome customer service, because they are looking to get products for absolutely nothing.
Let me get to today’s inside information, and it’s all about price gouging, but it’s not all bad news, okay? There’s some bad and there’s some good. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel for an Amazon seller.
Yesterday and the day before, we had a tremendous number of calls, chats and emails about price gouging accusations.
We’re seeing price gouging with suspensions, price gouging without suspensions. We’re seeing price gouging with 72 hour notices, and price gouging without 72 hour notices, but we are seeing an absolute avalanche of price gouging accusations against sellers. Just like the IP complaints, the vast majority of the price gouging accusations against you are baseless. Most sellers are not gouging consumers at all. You seem to be raising the prices to where the marketplace is, or raising your prices that coincide with Amazon’s costs and shipping, so most of the accusations are baseless, and we are having huge successes winning these cases.
