Amazon sellers’ accounts suspended, restricted essential products, and an absolutely ridiculous new glitch in Amazon.
Amazon suspensions these days are focusing on 3 huge issues:
1. Price gouging: is still a tremendous problem for Amazon sellers all over the United States. Stay away from products that are known to cause problems. Do not raise your prices unless you can justify the raise (under Amazon’s fair pricing policy) and also the cost of your goods. These things are vital if you get suspended.
2. “Maybe” inauthentics: are coming back really strong. We’re seeing a lot of calls, chats, and emails, which are the ways you can communicate with me and my incredible team. Every time you have something on your dashboard, you need to address it asap.
3. Related accounts: if you are operating more than one account, be super careful. Amazon put in a new policy where it says it will allow you to have more than one account if you fall into one of its categories. I’m not recommending sellers open up more accounts right now because I don’t want you to have to justify yourself, but if you are operating more than one account, try and put your ducks in a row so if you get called, you can fit yourself into one of these categories.
Restricted essential products on Amazon
Masks, cleaning products, facial shields. Amazon has a new policy in place. It will connect people and companies that have masks, hand sanitizers in large volumes, and other things that hospitals need so you can sell directly to hospitals and governmental bodies. I think this is a great program Amazon has created if you have large volumes of these essential products for our healthcare providers. I think this program could be really great to connect you with the government, hospitals and the healthcare providers that need it.
The absolutely ridiculous Amazon glitch of the week.
There are would-be sellers out there who are being prevented from selling on Amazon because of their country of birth. Now, here in the United States, there are laws against this. You are not allowed to discriminate against people based upon their race, their gender, their sexual orientation, their religious beliefs.
