With so many ecommerce trade shows to chose from, it can be hard deciding which ones to attend and which ones to pass on. So, we’ve put together a short list of ecommerce trade shows that are particularly helpful to Amazon sellers.

eCommerce Tradeshow

Attending trade shows is an integral part of sourcing products, meeting new vendors, checking out the latest trends and sneakily taking a look at what your competition is up to so you can strengthen your strategy!

You’ll notice that most of these don’t follow the traditional trade show structure. As content has become an integral part of running an e-commerce business, the line between traditional conferences and ecommerce trade shows continues to blur and these hybrids can often offer you the best of both worlds.

1. The Internet Retailer Conference And Exhibition

The IRCE has something for every Amazon seller. On the networking side, it is packed with industry experts and solution providers. But, it also has a sizable exhibition that features over 600 companies! Get fresh ideas and discover new vendors all in the same place.

The 2017 event is based in Chicago and takes place between the 6th and 9th of June. While the price of the tickets varies depending on which events you want to attend, an exhibit only ticket will set you back around $599.

2. ASD Tradeshow

The ASD tradeshow is like six trade shows rolled into one, featuring over 2800 vendors. It takes place over ASD Market week in Las Vegas. The next shows are scheduled for July 30th to August 2nd 2017 and March 11th to March 14th 2018.

This is a strictly trade only event, only open to buyers and industry professionals. But, if you fall into that category it can be a great place to restock your inventory. If you are a qualified buyer, you can register to attend for free on the ASD trade show website or you can register onsite and pay $40. Attendees need to register individually for each separate show.

3. Think Global Retail

Think Retail has a lot to offer Amazon sellers! It has powerful Amazon specific workshops and draws in a pretty great list of online merchants. The conference attracts people who sell on various e-commerce platforms and gives you a real chance to see how the industry at large is coping.

The conference runs from September 12th to September 14th in Las Vegas. Early bird tickets start at $695 and the full price ticket will set you back $995.

4. The Seller’s Conference (Previously SCOE)

Learn the latest information from fellow Amazon experts and network with service providers and topic experts. This conference has something for everyone, whether you just want to increase your sales, find a new vendor or start laying the groundwork for that global expansion.

Based in Seattle, the Seller’s Conference takes place from September 6th to September 8th. Early bird tickets cost $399.99 and on the day tickets are priced at $699.99.

5. Honorable Mention: The Seller’s Summit

The Seller’s Summit prides itself on offering extremely practical talks and actionable advice you can implement straight away and begin improving your e-commerce business immediately. It takes place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida between the 18th and 20th of May.

Attending The Trade Show

You’ve made the decision, bought your ticket, booked the accommodation and are raring to go! To make the most out of it, go in with a plan. If it’s a conference/trade show hybrid chose which sessions you’ll attend beforehand and make a list of vendors you’d like to visit so you can plan your time effectively.
